"The State shall provide free and compulsory education to all children of the age of six to fourteen years in such manner as the State may, by law, determine."

"राज्य, छह वर्ष से चौदह वर्ष तक की आयु के सभी बालकों को निःशुल्क और अनिवार्य शिक्षा उपलब्ध कराएगा।"
What it means — Simply
(सरल भाषा में)Every child between 6 and 14 years has the fundamental right to free and compulsory education. Added by the 86th Amendment (2002). The RTE Act 2009 implements this right.
6 से 14 वर्ष के हर बच्चे को निःशुल्क और अनिवार्य शिक्षा का मौलिक अधिकार है। 86वें संशोधन (2002) द्वारा जोड़ा गया। RTE अधिनियम 2009 इस अधिकार को लागू करता है।
Real-Life Scenario
Situation
A 10-year-old child is denied admission to a government school. Their parents can invoke Article 21A — the school cannot turn the child away.
परिस्थिति
10 साल के बच्चे को सरकारी स्कूल में दाखिला देने से मना किया जाता है। माता-पिता अनुच्छेद 21A का सहारा ले सकते हैं — स्कूल बच्चे को नहीं लौटा सकता।
