JanSamvidhan ("we", "us", "our") is a civic education website that provides free, non-partisan information about India's Constitution, government, elections, rights, and welfare schemes. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you visit jansamvidhan.in (the "Site").

If you contact us via our contact form or email, we collect your name and email address to respond to your query. We do not store this information beyond what is necessary to reply.

Like all websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may automatically collect basic server logs including IP address, browser type, referring page, and pages visited. This is standard web infrastructure data used for security and performance.

2.3 Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site (e.g., which pages are popular, where traffic comes from). Google Analytics may use cookies. The data is aggregated and anonymous — we cannot identify individual users from Analytics data. You can opt out via Google's opt-out tool.

Contact form enquiries are retained only as long as necessary to resolve your query. Server log data is retained per our hosting provider's (Cloudflare's) standard retention policy. Analytics data is aggregated and retained in Google Analytics for up to 26 months.

7. Children's Privacy

JanSamvidhan is designed to be accessible to students and children for educational purposes. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Our Site does not have user accounts or registration — no personal data is required to access any content.

8. Your Rights

Under applicable Indian privacy laws — the Information Technology Act, 2000 (and its 2008 Amendment), and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) — you have the right to:
